Callprint Invests In Xerox Equipment

CallPrint_LOGO 200x300pxReproMAX Partner Callprint has made a significant investment in their large format printing capacity by purchasing three new Xerox Versant 2100 printers.  With this purchase, they have doubled their wide format printing capacity in three of their locations as well as increased their ability to give clients the versatility they need in their choice of printing stock and color consistency.

Xerox in CallprintTwo Xerox printers will go to their Great Portland Street office in London, while the third will be installed in their new Birmingham facility. In addition, a Xerox Color J75 has been installed at their new Manchester site. These four printers were installed at the end of April and serve to replace a number of aging Xerox and Canon equipment.

In order to provide more consistency to their work across the UK, Callprint has upgraded their entire printer RIPs from Creo to Fiery, making it easy to provide their clients with unified printed materials–at any of their locations.

The firm’s existing Xerox iGen4, which is based at its Saffron Hill hub in London, has also been equipped with a larger sheet tray and an upgrade of its RIP to Fiery.

Callprint’s Gary Cheek said: “Alternate machines were briefly considered but we feel the support and the long-standing relationship that we have from Xerox was something we wanted to continue with. We are now able to print digitally on to a larger sheet size giving us the capability to produce A4 roll folds and A4 landscape booklets in small numbers.”
